KaviŽ Showcase Help
Table of Contents
Use this tool to edit information in this profile. You may also change the state or select different profile contacts. You will have the opportunity to view how the edited profile will look when displayed in the showcase before you save your edits.
If this profile is linked with a KaviŽ Members account, information that is pulled from the Kavi Members database will be displayed as read-only fields. These fields are updated automatically when information in the linked account is updated.
Because the profile tools are used to collect data on companies as well as individuals, you may also see empty read-only fields that aren't applicable to the type of profile you are editing.
Back to topThis page displays whether the profile is linked to a Kavi Members account. Most profiles are linked so that the profile owner's information only has to be updated in one place. If this profile is not linked to the owner's account, the profile information has to be updated independently of the information in the account.

- General Contact Information
Provide contact information for this profile, including an email address and mailing address. The profile name field is prefilled with the name of the company that owns this profile, but you may edit the profile name if you want it to display differently in Kavi Showcase. If the 'Automatically Update Contact Information' option is set to 'Yes', you won't be able to edit this information.
- Individual Contacts
-
Available contacts are displayed in the pulldown lists. Select a contact person and assign an appropriate Contact Type. With the exception of the default type 'Showcase User Editor', these are custom types managed through the Manage Profile Contact Types tool. These are semantic contact types (e.g., 'Marketing Contact', 'Sales Representative', etc.) that don't confer any access privileges.
The same user may be assigned as more than one type of contact for the same profile.
- Categories
Assign an appropriate category to this profile. The profile appears under this category heading when displayed. Depending on configuration, you may be able to assign multiple categories. All categories are custom to your organization, added by a 'Showcase Super Admin' through the Manage Profile Categories tool.
