The Catalog Items by Category report displays all the catalog items in the database sorted by category. Download this report as a CSV (comma-separated values) file, then view and manage it through your usual spreadsheet software or text editor.

The report shows how many catalog items are assigned to each catalog item category, and which states the catalog items are in.

A profile may have versions in different states, so the information here doesn't present the number of unique catalog items in each category. If your organization allows the same catalog item to be assigned to multiple categories, the same catalog item can be listed under different categories.
