Kavi® Showcase Help
Table of Contents
Showcase Admins use the Moderate Catalog Items tool to review new and edited catalog items and approve them for display in the organization's catalog or not. If you approve a catalog item, it's State is set to 'Approved'. If all other display conditions are met, the catalog item can be displayed in the catalog. You can also reject a catalog item by setting the State to 'Rejected', which makes the catalog item ineligible for display, but does not delete the item. Items set to 'Skip' remain in the moderation queue.
You may opt to send or suppress all Scheduled Email messages. Rejected profiles can be edited, then resubmitted for moderation. You may opt to send or suppress all Scheduled Email messages, but if you reject a profile you may want to notify the Profile Contact.
Review and take action on pending catalog items. You may approve those that are ready to be displayed in the showcase, reject those that should not be displayed and skip those that you don't wish to act upon at this time.
All catalog items in the moderation queue are displayed for you to review. To view a catalog item in a separate pop up window, click the View link. Click the Approve or Reject link next to any catalog items you wish to moderate. Items set to Skip are not acted upon and remain in the moderation queue.

- Actions
Click one of these options to moderate a catalog item. You may approve those that are ready to be displayed in the showcase, reject those that should not be displayed and skip those that you don't wish to act upon at this time.
Catalog items in the moderation queue are displayed according to the action selected on the previous step. If you want to make any changes, use the Back button to return to the previous step. By default, email is suppressed, but you may opt to send email if you like. When you are satisified with your choices, click the Moderate button to submit your changes to the Kavi Showcase database.
Any catalog items that you approved may be eligible for display in your showcase. Catalog Items that you skipped will wait in the moderation queue until acted upon. Catalog Items that you rejected can be edited by the catalog item contact and resubmitted for moderation. If you opted to send email, it will go out immediately.
