Thursday March 24th: Scheduled Service Maintenance on WS6 UM Workspace Branch

UPDATE Friday 3/25: We’re seeing multiple issues occurring this morning on Workspace 6 UM sites. One (or more) of these may be ones you’re already familiar with:

  • Members aren’t able to log in/get authentication This issue has now been resolved
  • Mail is either being rejected or not delivered Mail is now flowing through the system as expected.

We’ve got a team digging into root causes here, and will update impacted Workspace administrators as the investigation continues. We thank you for your patience, and apologize for the momentary interruption of service.

Original message Thursday 3/24: Kavi will be implementing performance enhancements to our Workspace 6 cluster during our regularly-scheduled weekly Platform maintenance window this Thursday, March 24th from 5 pm PDT to 1 am PDT.

These changes will mean that you or your members may not be able to reach your organization’s Kavi Workspace installation during this time. Mail delivery may also be deferred starting at 2 pm PDT on Thursday until the enhancements have been implemented.

We will have a generic ‘service unavailable’ page visible to anyone trying to access your installation, but we suggest that you update your members about the interruption in service as well.

We anticipate that this work will be concluded by the end of the maintenance window (Friday 1am PDT), if not well before. Mail delivery will resume at that time for all deferred messages.
